About

About this blog:

This blog is primarily a journal – a journal that is part of the assignments for a course at my Uni in Australia, Griffith University. The course is called Imaging Culture, which tries to show how culture can be explored by experimental approaches to make images. Image is used in a broad sense here and includes sounds, moving images, photographs, other sensory experiences and software as a kind of social image. This blog will therefore be my journal for my own attempts to make images, and to document the outcomes, successes as well as ‘failures’: Failures that are not real failures, but just part of the overall process.

About Me:

I’m a 27 year old postgraduate student from Germany, and I’m currently doing a Master of Arts and Media in Australia. Back home, I’m studying Media Studies and (English) Cultural Studies in a German Magister degree program. I commenced my studies in 2002 and ‘paused’ them from 2004 -2007  to work for the German television show (and later, television channel) GIGA. Last year, it was my pleasure to work with the fantastic cast and crew of a German feature film, Andererseits, where I could do some of the props/set design. More about me in my home blog, crazykaro.de.
